PSYCHOSOMATIK is a band of EBM/INDUSTRIAL MUSIC based near Arras,north of France .
The band exists since september 2000, the two members Michael ROUSSEL and Frederic LECIEUX are influenced by bands like FLA,Skinny Puppy,
Front 242,SA42,Mentallo & the fixers,Wumpscut ,Nine Inch Nails,Ministry...
All that will induce Michael & Frederic to make electronic tracks with distorted voices and dark atmospheres in early years.
On the first demo "Psychopath?" (2003),their music includes also guitars samples and metallic percussions with lyrics on the subject of the human decadence and the psychiatric troubles.
"Release Me (feat.OBE)" was their first single released for the french compilation "AXC_Labs".
PSYCHOSOMATIK contributes to several compilations (AXC_labs , Drifting Skywards , Electronic Manifesto) and in particular the charitable compilation "Electronic Aid to Haïti" with the track "Better" on the Sigsaly Transmissions label.
On this label ,PSYCHOSOMATIK appears by courtesy of K-BEREIT on their first album "Distört Neural Unit" in 2009.From then on,the music of PSYCHOSOMATIK became more melodic, danceable and accessible and the voice less saturated.

After a break due to professional and familial life, PSYCHOSOMATIK is back on 2020 with the EP Bullfighter/No Time To Lose , a compilation of remixes, instrumentals and unreleased tracks.
The remixes are made by SIGNAL AOUT 42(Belgium) , DESTILLAT (France) ,and BLUT REAKTOR ( USA).

In 2021, They publish the digital album "RE/IN/TROSPECTIVE " on bandcamp.
The CD version will be published during Februar.
